Save-The-Dates

I know that I want my invitations to highlight our celery green color and for the save-the-dates to have the same theme.  I was poking around Etsy and some design blogs when I came across the idea we're going to use for our STDs- bookmarks!  We're both big readers and feel this will be fun and different while also representing our personalities.

These bookmarks by Etsy seller BeanSproutStudio are my favorite!

These are from Elizabeth Anne Designs, which gives great DIY instructions. I will be stealing the cute tassel idea and the phrasing- 'Bookmark the Date'

Here is a double-sided version that gives a bit more information.
UPDATE: Our save-the-dates are finished!  Check out our proofs and our assembly get-together below.

Proof from our vendor, Etsy seller BeanSproutStudio. I am so happy with them!
On my birthday (such a big help and a good present!), two of my bridesmaids came over, and with the help of my other roommate and my fiance, we assembled, addressed, and sealed ALL the save-the-dates.  We ended up sending out about 130 of them.  I supplied the pizza and the wine, they supplied the beautiful handwriting that I am sadly lacking.  My apologies for the camera phone pictures, but it was all I had on hand at the time.

My bridesmaids did ALL the addresses- thank you!

Brendan had hole-punching duty on the assembly line.
I wanted our save-the-date bookmarks to have the classic bookmark tassel, so I purchased white tassels on my own from Trimsplus.com and attached them.  Here is the final product:

Ta da!

Table Cards

Inspiration has struck!  I found a picture on TheKnot of the perfect way to display our table cards.  We will be using Tord Boontje "Until Dawn" curtain.

This is the original inspiration image from The Knot. I love it!

I had to have it! The designer's online store was sold out, so I tracked one down in Australia and am having it shipped over. Yay!

To go with the ornate display curtain, I plan to keep our table cards clean and simple. I love this bold style of calligraphy.

Invitations

After a long search, we have finally chosen our wedding invitations!  I fell in love with Bella Figura at first glance- they use tree-free cotton paper and an antique letterpress machine, and their designs are whimsical, fun, and colorful.  The hard part from there was selecting which design to use.

We will be using Bella Figura's 'Panache' invitation for our wedding invites. We love the design, and will be customizing the color to more closely align with our blue/green jewel tone palette.

The 'Dewdrop' line is another favorite, and this green matches our signature color perfectly! We will probably be using this style for our ceremony program.

The 'Canopy' style fits the mood of the dining room at our reception venue perfectly, so rotated vertically and in another color, this will be our menu stationery.

The 'Modern Calligraphy' is so eye-catching and pretty that we're trying to find a use for it as well. Perhaps for our table cards, described above?
